This hiking route is an extremely difficult out-and-back trail that covers a distance of 17.051 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1294 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is around 7 hours and 10 minutes.
The trail starts at a parking area near the Coach Bus Parking and immediately offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest.
One of the first notable points is the Trümmelbachfälle waterfall at 0.36 kilometers from the start. This impressive natural attraction is a must-see along the trail. As you continue, you will pass by the Kleine Scheidegg area, where you can find restaurants like Restaurant Eigernordwand, Chalet Bar, and Tipi Bar Kleine Scheidegg for a quick break or a meal.
Further along the trail, at around 8.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach the beautiful Wengernalp area. Here, you can find the Wengernalp restaurant, information points, and plenty of benches to rest and take in the scenic views.
