Hiking : Giro dei laghi di Sternai

This extremely difficult circular hiking route will take you on a 13.26-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1077 meters through the picturesque area of Giro dei laghi di Sternai.

Starting at Fontanin al Coler, you'll pass by Al Fontanin restaurant at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you'll come across Malga Stablasolo, an alpine hut, perfect for a rest stop 1.7 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail at the 4.01-kilometer mark, you'll find Baito Campisòl shelter, offering a cozy spot to take a break. Continuing on, at 2.98 kilometers, Doss dela Cross shelter provides another rest area.

Stay hydrated by utilizing the drinking water facilities along the trail. You'll find one at 1.71 kilometers and another at 2.61 kilometers.

As you hike, be on the lookout for the Cascata bassa di Saent and Cascata alta di Saent waterfalls located 2.82 kilometers from the start. While they're slightly off the trail, they're worth the short detour for a breathtaking view.

The route also offers several points of interest, including picnic sites and informational spots, perfect for learning more about the area's history and natural surroundings.
