Welcome to the Vlahino Lake hiking route! This challenging circular trail covers a distance of 8.236 kilometers with an elevation gain of 814 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will first come across the Vihren Hut where you can gather information about the trail ahead. As you continue, you will pass by a drinking water point for you to refill your bottles. The trail then leads you to Vihren Saddle offering stunning views along the way.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Vlahino Lake, a beautiful natural water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. On the way back, make sure to stop by the picnic site for a quick snack before heading to the viewpoint where you can admire the breathtaking vistas.

Throughout the hike, be sure to carry an ample water supply and check the weather forecast beforehand. This route offers a mix of natural beauty, informational points, and recreational areas, providing a memorable and challenging hiking experience.
