Hiking : Rocher Noir avec Croix Bleue

This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural features and historical landmarks. The trail is 7.705 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 504 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding hike.

Starting at the Stationnement des Labays parking area, you will begin your journey. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About 2.1 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Cabane du Horquèth wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the view.

Further along the trail at about 3.58 kilometers, you will encounter the Rocher de Ponce rock formation, followed by the historic Cabane de Ponce ruins at 3.85 kilometers. A little ahead at 3.85 kilometers, you will see the Caillau du Termy rock formation.

As you continue on, you will reach the Rocher Noir avec Croix Bleue, the destination of this hike, at 3.85 kilometers. This unique rock formation with a blue cross is a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings before heading back.
