This challenging 11.896-kilometer circular hiking route in the Les Casses Blanches area, known as the Sentier de la Roche Noire, offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at Parking La Chenalette, you'll find yourself at the trailhead with easy access to the route. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across helpful information points such as L'Ordière, Notre Dame des Neiges, and La Chenalette, providing insight into the area's history and environment.
Midway through the hike, at 4.35 kilometers, you'll reach Refuge de Terre Rouge, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest before continuing on. Here you'll also find drinking water available for refilling your bottles.
