This challenging 11.285-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you through the stunning area of Les Angeliers. The trail begins at Parking La Chenalette, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your adventure.
As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest. About 4.35 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Refuge de Terre Rouge, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Further along the trail, at the 5.5-kilometer mark, you'll find a water source to refill your supplies.
During the hike, you'll also encounter informative spots such as L'Ordière, Notre Dame des Neiges, and Chapelle Notre-Dame des Neiges, where you can learn more about the area's history and landmarks. Additionally, be sure to check out Les Perches for another interesting tidbit along the route.
With an elevation gain of 543 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as well as snacks to keep your energy levels up.
