This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Hochkaseralm area. With a total distance of 8.461 kilometers and an elevation gain of 619 meters, this hike is estimated to take around 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey at the Ziegelhütte parking lot, make sure you have enough water and snacks to keep you fueled throughout the hike. The trail will lead you through stunning natural landscapes, including lush forests and breathtaking mountain views.

At the beginning of the trail, you will come across informative signs providing interesting facts about the surroundings. Around 0.15 kilometers into the hike, you will reach another informational point with details about the area.

As you continue on the trail, at around 1.24 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a historic wayside cross that adds a cultural element to the hike. Further along the path, at 2.38 kilometers, you will find a spring where you can replenish your water supply.

Around 3.54 kilometers into the hike, you'll spot the peak of Bründlingkopf, offering panoramic views of the region. Additionally, there are benches scattered along the trail at various points, providing hikers with a place to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Finally, as you approach the 4.23-kilometer mark, you will reach the Hochkaseralm, a rustic alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. From here, you can choose to retrace your steps back to the starting point or continue exploring the area before heading back.
