This challenging 11-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscapes near Nigglkopf. The trail features an elevation gain of 1078 meters and is expected to take approximately 5 hours and 14 minutes to complete. Before embarking on this hike, make sure to check the weather forecast and pack plenty of water and snacks.
Your journey will begin at Tschaminschwaige, where you can stop by the restaurant Malga Ciamin for a quick bite before starting your adventure. Just 450 meters into the hike, you'll come across an information point and a cave entrance known as Tschetter Loch. As you continue on, you'll pass by several benches and parking areas for your convenience.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the peak of Nigglkopf, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take a moment to rest on one of the benches strategically placed along the trail to enjoy the scenery. Further along, you'll encounter the saddle known as Sella Cavaccia, providing a perfect spot for a break before continuing on.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll pass by an artwork installation and several more benches, including one at Mittagskofel. As you make your way back to the starting point, take in the beauty of the natural surroundings and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains.
