Welcome to the Sender de la Maria hiking route! This route is located in a picturesque area with historical monuments and natural landmarks waiting to be explored.

As you start your hike, you will pass by a monument just 0.05 kilometers from the trail. This spot is perfect for a quick historical pitstop. Shortly after, you will encounter a drinking water station at the beginning of the trail, so make sure to fill up your water bottle before continuing.

Around 1.65 kilometers into the route, you will find another water feature, offering a refreshing sight along the way. As you trek further, at 1.67 kilometers, there is a natural spring called Font de la Plaça Mercadal, which provides a serene ambiance for a short rest.

Midway through the hike, at 2.63 kilometers, you will reach a saddle known as Coll dels Banys, offering a stunning viewpoint of the surrounding landscape. Keep going, and at 3.49 kilometers, you will reach the peak, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area.

On the way back, at 2.24 kilometers, there is another viewpoint that you won't want to miss, providing a different perspective of the scenery. Additionally, at 2.95 kilometers, there is another viewpoint to take in before concluding your journey.

With a distance of 6.985 kilometers and an elevation gain of 142 meters, this moderate level hike offers a good balance of challenge and enjoyment. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure.
