This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Chemin de Calamet. The trail is 6.448 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 103 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Place de Montagnon, a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along, at around 0.21 kilometers from the start, you will find another parking area. It is advisable to arrive early to secure a parking spot.
Around the midway point of the trail, approximately 3.22 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water source, providing you with an opportunity to refill your water bottles. Remember to stay hydrated throughout the hike, especially on warmer days.
As you make your way back, at the 0.21-kilometer mark from the start, there is a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, nearby is a memorial, offering a poignant reminder of the area's history.
