The Kappellenweg hiking route is a beautiful and easy trail that offers a serene and peaceful experience. Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area, perfect for those arriving by car. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Eintracht Staufen Vereinsheim restaurant, where you can stop for a meal or refreshments.

Along the way, you will also find several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, there are historic wayside shrines labeled as Stations 15 to 4, each offering a glimpse into the area's history.

As you reach the midway point of the hike, you will encounter more benches and an information point where you can learn more about the trail and its surroundings. A viewpoint with no entry fee provides a stunning panorama of the area, perfect for capturing some photos.

Towards the end of the route, you will spot historic wayside crosses, adding to the trail's cultural significance. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
