Welcome to the Sentiero Belvedere hiking route in Ville d'Anaunia. This picturesque area offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting off your hike, you will pass by Casa del Parco Lago Rosso, a visitor center located just 0.1 kilometers from the trailhead. Here you can learn more about the surrounding area before continuing on your journey. Nearby, at a distance of 0.1 kilometers from the start, you will also find a drinking water station for refilling your water bottles.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across Albergo Lago Rosso, a charming restaurant conveniently located right on the trail at the beginning of your hike. This is a great spot to stop for a meal or snack before venturing further into the hike.
At the midway point of the hike, approximately 1.28 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a beautiful waterfall and a scenic viewpoint where you can take in the breathtaking surroundings. This is a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the area.
Further along the trail, at approximately 0.78 kilometers from the start, you will find Sorgente Roccione, a natural spring where you can refill your water supply and take a refreshing break.
Towards the end of the route, approximately 1.08 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lago di Tovel, a stunning lake that offers a tranquil setting for taking in the natural beauty of the area.
This out-and-back route covers a distance of 2.56 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for hikers of all levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on your adventure.
