Welcome to the Schnablweg hiking route! This 8.265-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 327 meters, taking an estimated duration of 2 hours and 43 minutes.

Starting off at the parking area, you will quickly come across a beautiful park at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to fill up your water bottle at one of the water sources located 0.04 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, take a moment to visit the St. Ilgnerhof restaurant located 0.01 kilometers from the trail for a quick break.

As you trek further, you will find an information point and a wayside shrine just 0.01 kilometers from the trail. Enjoy the serene surroundings as you pass by more water sources along the way, perfect for refilling and staying hydrated.

Midway through your hike, at approximately 3.14 kilometers from the start, you will come across another water source. Take a breather and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature before continuing on the trail.

For history buffs, be sure to check out the historic wayside shrines located at various points along the trail, offering a glimpse into the past. Additionally, benches are available for a quick rest stop at 0.02 kilometers from the trail.

As you reach the turnaround point at 4.13 kilometers from the start, take in the stunning views before heading back along the same scenic route. Keep an eye out for the parking area located 0.28 kilometers from the trail as you make your way back.
