This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Contournement Sud de Mâcon. The trail is relatively short, with a distance of 1.402 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the stunning Château de Beaulieu, a historic castle located just 0.16 kilometers from the trail. Further along the path, at a distance of 0.08 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Étang du Cèdre, a scenic water body perfect for a rest and some picturesque views.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 0.43 kilometers from the beginning, you'll find another water feature to enjoy. And for those planning to drive to the trailhead, there are parking facilities available at various points along the route.

As you continue on, around 0.7 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter yet another beautiful water spot to admire. This out-and-back trail offers a leisurely stroll for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
