This easy out-and-back hiking route takes you through a beautiful alpine area near Refuge des Mottets. The trail covers a distance of 3.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 66 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for most skill levels.

Starting at La Ville des Glaciers parking area, you'll begin your journey surrounded by stunning mountain views. The first point of interest you'll encounter is a wayside shrine located just 0.1 kilometers from the start of the trail. As you continue onwards, you'll pass by a memorial at 0.09 kilometers and an information point at 0.09 kilometers.

Around midway through the hike, at 1.7 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Refuge des Mottets alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Further along the trail, at 1.65 kilometers from the start, you'll come across another memorial before reaching a cave entrance at 1.32 kilometers.
