Welcome to the Los Curros hiking route!
Located in a beautiful natural area, this trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. With a total distance of 7.394 kilometers and an elevation gain of 450 meters, this route will take approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking facilities for your convenience. Further along, you'll encounter the stunning Presa del Risquillo, a reservoir where you can take in the scenic views. Make sure to stop by Quiosco El Risquillo, a biergarten, for a refreshing break.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Collado de las Camellas, a saddle point with breathtaking panoramic vistas. This is a great spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. As you continue, you'll pass by the historic Rollo de Guisando, a pillory that adds a cultural touch to the hike.
Towards the end of the trail, you'll reach the peak at Collado de la Fuente, offering a sense of accomplishment and spectacular views. Don't forget to refill your water bottles at the drinking water station, Risquillo, to stay hydrated during your trek.
