Welcome to the Eisenschachtweg hiking route! This scenic trail offers a relatively easy hike with a total distance of 4.094 kilometers and an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by the Kuhschnappler Teich, a picturesque water feature located just 0.2 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at 1.6 kilometers, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area's history.

As you continue your journey, be sure to stop by the Ziegenhof Winter farm at the beginning of the trail, which offers a unique opportunity to interact with farm animals and explore local produce.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various facilities such as benches and shelters, including the Jagdhütte shelter at 1.6 kilometers, providing a place to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

At the midpoint of the trail, 2.05 kilometers in, you will find a refreshing water source for a quick break before heading back. Additionally, the Weihnachsinsel Kuhschnappel attraction at 0.1 kilometers from the start is a must-see spot that is wheelchair-accessible.
