This extremely difficult 13.841-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area surrounding Puig Sanoguera. With an elevation gain of 789 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
As you start your journey, you'll pass by the Font de Sant Aniol spring, a refreshing spot located approximately 4 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, at about 6.19 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Baumes d'Uja cave entrance, perfect for exploration.
Midway through the hike, around the 6.84-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Puig Sanoguera peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue, you'll also come across the Coll de la Portellera saddle, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you'll have access to amenities such as the Refugi de Sant Aniol d'Aguja wilderness hut and the Gorg del Citró water source. However, it's essential to bring an ample water supply, as some landmarks like the Gorg Fosc water spot may not be directly on the trail.
