This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area near Bivacco Suretta, starting from the Splügenpass Passo dello Splügen. The trail has a total distance of 6.982 kilometers and an elevation gain of 660 meters, making it a moderate to challenging hike.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the Bergseeli and Lago Azzurro, two stunning water bodies just 1 kilometer into the hike. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2 kilometers, you will come across more picturesque water spots.

For those looking to take a break or spend the night, at the 3-kilometer mark, you will find the Bivacco Suretta alpine hut and shelter. Please note that there is a fee of €5.00 for non-members and €3.00 for members to stay at the hut.

Before beginning your hike, make sure to check the weather forecast, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains. It is also important to bring enough water and snacks for the journey, as well as proper hiking gear and sturdy footwear.
