This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 7.877 kilometers and an elevation gain of 138 meters, making it a difficult trail suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting off at the parking area located right at the trailhead, you will begin your journey surrounded by lush greenery. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several benches where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

About 2.57 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by the Lahn river, a perfect spot to take in the scenic views and maybe even have a quick picnic by the water. Further along the trail, at the 3.31 kilometer mark, you will find another bench where you can pause and admire the surroundings.

As you continue on, the trail will lead you past various water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated. Pay attention to the signs along the way to ensure you stay on track, as some points of interest are slightly off the main trail.

At the halfway point, you will come across Johannes Brünnlein viewpoint, offering a stunning vantage point to take in the beauty of the area. From there, the trail loops back towards the starting point, giving you a chance to experience the scenery from a different perspective on the way back.
