This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Cabane de l'Estany Negre and Barrage du Lac des Bouillouses. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.244 kilometers and an elevation gain of 135 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start the hike, you will pass by Les Bones Hores bar-restaurant-hotel, located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or hydrate before you continue your journey. As you make your way through the trail, you will come across Estany Negre, a lovely water feature just 1.52 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect place to take in the serene surroundings and maybe even have a picnic.

Further along the trail, at around 3.12 kilometers from the start, you will find another water point, providing you with a chance to refill your water bottles and take a break. Additionally, there are several information points along the way, such as Site des Bouillouses and others, offering insights into the area's history and natural wonders.
