This hiking route takes you on an adventure through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and natural attractions. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the Basteiturm destination.

Starting your hike, you will pass by the Forellenräucherei Leuschke restaurant, where you can fuel up before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various viewpoints such as Kanapee, Felsenburg, and Ferdinandaussicht, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Bastei, a peak with wheelchair-accessible paths providing a breathtaking view of the area. Continue on to discover the Basteibrücke, an iconic bridge offering a unique perspective of the landscape.

Throughout the hike, you'll encounter several benches and picnic sites where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy a snack. As you near the end of the trail, you'll come across the Panorama-Snack fast food spot and the Panoramarestaurant Bastei, where you can indulge in some delicious treats.

This route spans approximately 2.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 104 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
