This hiking route takes you on a 7.3-kilometer circular journey around the Burghütte area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The route has an elevation gain of 583 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.
Starting at the parking area, you will find informative signposts along the trail, providing insights into the local area. Around 1.78 kilometers into the hike, you will come across another information point, followed by more information spots at 2 kilometers and 2.64 kilometers from the start.
As you continue on the trail, at approximately 0.33 kilometers from the beginning, you will find the Burghütte alpine hut, a perfect place to rest and refuel. Further along the trail, you will encounter benches at 0.63 kilometers, 1.25 kilometers, and 1.25 kilometers (again) from the start, providing a place to relax and take in the surroundings.
Additionally, there is a drinking water point located 138 meters away from the trail, offering a convenient spot to replenish your water supply. A viewpoint is situated at 3.55 kilometers from the start, providing an excellent vantage point to admire the surrounding landscape.
For climbing enthusiasts, there are three different climbing areas nearby: Klettergarten Burgwand, Klettergarten Sonnenplatten, and Klettergarten Burgplatten. These areas, between 3.46 and 3.55 kilometers from the start, offer varying degrees of difficulty and are a great way to challenge yourself further.
Finally, at 2.81 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Titter Hängebrücke (Titter suspension bridge), adding a thrilling element to your hike.
