This extremely difficult 11.346-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Selun peak. The trail starts at a parking area and immediately immerses you in the stunning natural beauty of the area.
As you hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 3.47 kilometers from the start, you will find the Wildmannli Hütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, at around 3.78 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Wildmannlisloch cave entrance, a fascinating natural wonder to explore.
At the midway point, approximately 5.67 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic Selun peak, offering panoramic views that make the challenging hike worth every step. Remember to bring enough water, snacks, and appropriate gear for the hike, as the trail is quite strenuous with an elevation gain of 1274 meters.
