This moderate 6.879-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 281 meters is a perfect choice for a day hike. The trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest to explore along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will find the Informationszentrum nearby for any last-minute information you may need before starting your hike. As you begin your journey, you will pass by Hundsfeldsee at 1.37 kilometers from the start, a picturesque spot to take in the natural beauty of the area.

Further along the trail, around 1.83 kilometers from the start, you will come across Seekarhaus and Kringsalm, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. The trail also passes by several water sources, providing you with opportunities to cool off or refill your water bottle.

Midway through the hike, at around 2.97 kilometers from the start, you will reach Seekarscharte, a saddle with breathtaking panoramic views. This is a great place to take a rest and soak in the scenery before heading back on the trail.

As you make your way back, consider stopping by Dikt'nalm and the wayside crosses along the trail for a glimpse into the area's history and culture.
