Welcome to the Klamml hiking route! This challenging out-and-back trail spans a total distance of 7.121 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 281 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek for experienced hikers.

The hike starts at the Informationszentrum, where you can gather any last-minute information before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter several points of interest. At approximately 1.37 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the picturesque Hundsfeldsee, a beautiful natural water feature perfect for a quick rest and some scenic photos.

Continuing on, at 1.83 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Seekarhaus restaurant, where you can refuel with some hearty mountain fare. Further along the trail, at around 3.56 kilometers, you'll find more water sources like Kringsalm and several other natural water features, providing a refreshing break as you hike.

As you approach the midway point of the trail, at 2.97 kilometers, you'll come across the Seekarscharte saddle and a historic wayside cross, adding a touch of cultural significance to your hike. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape before heading back towards the starting point.

Throughout the hike, hikers are advised to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and sunscreen. It's also recommended to check the weather forecast before setting out, as mountain weather can be unpredictable.
