Welcome to the Hundskogelbahn Bergstation - Klamml hiking route!

Located in a picturesque area, this 8.096-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. With an elevation gain of 383 meters, this hike is considered difficult, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you'll pass by the Hundsfeldsee, a tranquil water feature located just 1.37 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the route, at around 1.83 kilometers, you'll find the Seekarhaus restaurant, a perfect spot to refuel and enjoy a meal with a view.

As you continue on, you'll come across several more water features and restaurants, offering convenient rest stops and opportunities to take in the surrounding nature. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to stay energized throughout the hike.

At the midway point, around 3.31 kilometers in, you'll encounter the Kringsalm restaurant, where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. Nearby, you'll also find the beautiful Hundskogel peak, perfect for a side trip to soak in the breathtaking panoramic views.

As you make your way back along the trail, take a moment to admire the Seekarscharte saddle at 2.97 kilometers, offering a unique vantage point of the area. And don't miss the viewpoints along the route, such as the one at 3.72 kilometers, where you can capture stunning photos of the landscape.
