Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Sumbra! This challenging trail spans 8.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 794 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.

The hike begins at a parking area located right at the start of the trail. As you make your way up, you'll pass by a drinking water station, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the journey. About 0.76 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach La Focetta, a scenic saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Continuing onwards, you'll encounter Passo Fiocca at approximately 3.64 kilometers from the start, followed by Foce Contapecore at the 3.2-kilometer mark. These saddles provide a perfect opportunity to catch your breath and take in the beauty of the landscape.

At around 1.82 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Malpasso, another saddle that marks the halfway point of the hike. From here, the trail becomes more challenging as you ascend towards Monte Sumbra.

After a total of 4.34 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Monte Sumbra, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Take a moment to rest and enjoy the rewarding scenery before starting your descent back to the starting point.
