As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area just 4.7 meters from the trailhead. Around 3.4 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your bottles. Further along at the 4.1-kilometer mark, you'll find two alpine huts, Rifugio I Re Magi and Rifugio Terzo Alpini, where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views.

If you're in need of sustenance, Bar Restaurant Edelweiss is located approximately 0.1 kilometers off the trail, offering a chance for a hearty meal. Along the trail, you'll also find various information points, benches, and even more water sources to keep you hydrated throughout your hike.

Approximately 2.1 kilometers from the start, you'll reach La Fonderie, a noteworthy point of interest. Before turning back, take a moment to explore the historic shrines and crosses that are scattered along the trail. Keep in mind to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure and make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to keep you fueled.
