This challenging hiking route will take you to the Refugi Colomina in the beautiful area surrounding Estany de la Colomina. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 6.084 kilometers and an elevation gain of 637 meters, so be prepared for a steep climb.

Starting at the Parking Pantà de Sallente, you will pass by the Restaurant Sallente and the spring before beginning your ascent. Along the way, you will encounter several water features such as Estany de la Colomina and other smaller lakes, providing stunning views and opportunities to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Refugi lliure d'Estany Gento, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on. As you approach the Refugi Colomina, you will pass by the Antic remuntador ruins and several information points providing insights into the area's history and natural features.

At the end of the trail, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views from the viewpoint near Refugi Colomina before making your way back the same route.
