This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Blairdenon. The trail covers a distance of approximately 12.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 618 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across Bengengie Hill, a peak located 3.7 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, about 6.15 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak called Blairdenon. This is the main destination of the hike and offers stunning vistas as a reward for your efforts.
Along the way, you will also pass by a memorial located 0.16 kilometers from the start, providing a moment for reflection. Additionally, Wee Torry, a peak situated 1.08 kilometers from the start, offers a smaller yet rewarding summit to conquer.
It is important to come prepared for this challenging hike by bringing plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is also recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the trail. Keep in mind that this route follows an out-and-back path, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
