This challenging hike to Magurka covers a distance of 7.802 kilometers with an elevation gain of 395 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 47 minutes to complete. The route is an out-and-back trail, starting at a parking area at the very beginning of the trail.

As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the ruins of Huty Szkła, a historic glassworks site located right on the trail. Further along the path, at around 0.29 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Złatna Huta, a campsite where you can rest and take in the surroundings.

Around 1.81 kilometers from the start, you'll find Przełęcz Bory Orawskie, a natural saddle that offers stunning views but requires a slight detour from the main trail. Continuing on, at 2.08 kilometers, you'll reach Mútňanské sedlo, an information point that provides insights into the area's geography and history.

As you approach the turnaround point at Magurka, located 3.9 kilometers from the start, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views from the peak. On your way back, consider stopping by the shelter at around 2.08 kilometers from the start to refuel and rest before completing the hike.

While the trail is relatively short, the elevation gain makes it a difficult hike. Be prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Check the weather forecast before setting out, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way.
