The M-5 Metro Trail is a scenic and easy circular hiking route located in a beautiful natural setting. The trail spans a distance of approximately 3.077 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you embark on your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. About 1.54 kilometers from the start, you will find a picturesque water feature, perfect for a rest stop and to take in the beautiful surroundings. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.96 kilometers from the start, there is another water feature, although slightly off the trail.

For those driving to the trailhead, there are multiple parking areas available. The closest parking lot is located at the beginning of the trail, while additional options are scattered throughout the route. Additionally, at 0.17 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Uptown Grille restaurant, where you can refuel after your hike.

It is always recommended to carry an adequate supply of water and to check the weather forecast before setting out on any hike.
