This hiking route will take you through the scenic area around Erata. The trail is 20.169 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1043 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Aparcamiento de Cotefablo parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. About 3.57 kilometers into the hike, you will reach an information point where you can learn more about the area.
Midway through the hike, at around 6.75 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the majestic peak of Peña Ronata, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. At 9.08 kilometers, you will find the impressive Pico de Yésero peak, adding to the scenic beauty of the trail.
Towards the end of the route, at approximately 10.08 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Erata, the main destination of this hike. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the area, making the challenging journey well worth it.
