This extremely difficult 14.1-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning peak of Piz da Lêch. The trail starts at the parking area with several amenities available and follows a challenging path with a total elevation gain of 1314 meters.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by a wayside cross marking the start of the trail. About midway through the hike, you'll come across a drinking water station where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, you'll encounter an information point providing insights about the area before reaching a bench where you can take a rest and admire the surrounding views.
Further along the trail, you'll find the Boesee - Lago di Boe lake, a perfect spot to relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, there is a via ferrata, the Boesekofel Klettersteig, located at around 6.76 kilometers from the starting point.
As you approach the peak, you'll pass by the Piz Boè Alpine Lounge and other restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat before reaching the summit of Piz da Lêch. The panoramic views from the peak make the challenging hike well worth it.
Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for this demanding hike.
