At the beginning of the hike, you will find a wheelchair-accessible parking area, followed by a refreshing water spot just 0.26 kilometers from the start. Further along, at 0.35 kilometers, you'll encounter the historic Karlsfried Castle, and at 0.89 kilometers, you can explore the Fuchskanzel viewpoint.
During your hike, you may also come across informational points such as Burgruine Karlsfried and several picnic sites and shelters for a relaxing break. Keep an eye out for the Heideturm peak at 0.21 kilometers from the start, which is suitable for climbing enthusiasts.
