Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Alamont peak. Along the way, you will come across an information point about the area and Col de Taney. This will give you some background information on the region as you continue on your hike.
As you progress further, at around 0.82 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point that provides more insights into the surroundings. Additionally, at 0.86 kilometers, there is a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the scenery.
Midway through the hike, at 2.38 kilometers, you will reach Alamont peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Make sure to take some time to admire the beauty of the landscape before heading back.
