Welcome to the hiking route to Alamont peak in the beautiful region of Col de Taney. This moderate difficulty out-and-back trail spans approximately 4.75 kilometers with an elevation gain of 358 meters, taking around 2 hours to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find convenient parking areas nearby to leave your vehicle before embarking on this scenic adventure. As you make your way along the path, about 100 meters in, you'll come across an information point that provides insights into the area's natural and cultural significance.

Continuing onward, at around the 1-kilometer mark, you'll reach Col de Taney, a picturesque spot to rest and take in the surrounding beauty. Shortly after, at 0.86 kilometers into the hike, a bench offers a perfect place to pause and enjoy a snack while soaking in the serene atmosphere.

Around the halfway point, at 2.38 kilometers, Alamont peak awaits, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, a drinking water station at 0.1 kilometers from the trail provides a convenient spot to refill your water bottle.

As you begin your descent back, be sure to visit the Col de Tanay saddle at 0.1 kilometers from the trail, providing a unique vantage point of the area.
