Starting at the parking area at Fornace, you will begin your journey through the scenic landscape. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. At around 1.56 kilometers from the start, you will find the Calchera ruins, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past.

Continuing onwards, at approximately 2.02 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a picturesque waterfall, providing a refreshing stop along your hike. Further along the trail, at 4.58 kilometers, you will pass by impressive rock formations, adding to the rugged beauty of the surroundings.

As you approach the midway point of the hike, at 5.74 kilometers from the start, you will find Pian dei Violini, a notable area with informative signage. Here, you can take a break at the picnic site located nearby and learn more about the area's natural features.
