This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning area around Lago del Salero inferiore. With a total distance of 8.641 kilometers and an elevation gain of 811 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart and is classified as Difficult. It is estimated to take around 4 hours to complete.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, make sure to bring plenty of water as the route can be quite demanding. Along the way, you will come across the Ristoro Sitten restaurant, located approximately 2.45 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on.

Further along the trail, at around 4.32 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lago del Salero superiore, a beautiful spot to admire the scenery and maybe even have a picnic. Just a short distance away, you will also find Lago del Salero inferiore, which is located right by the trail and makes for a perfect photo opportunity.

For more convenience, there are drinking water sources available at around 0.0 kilometers from the start and at 0.22 kilometers, so you can stay hydrated throughout your hike. It is always a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out and to dress appropriately for the conditions.

As this route is an out-and-back trail, you will retrace your steps on the way back. Make sure to pace yourself and take breaks as needed, especially on the way back as you make your return journey to the starting point.
