This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Pointe de Rognier. The trail is a circular route that starts at an elevation of 1358 meters and ends at 2329 meters.
As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Chapelle de Prodin, a historic wayside shrine located right at the start of the trail. From there, you'll encounter several water features, including the Parking de Prodin and various water sources along the way, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
As you continue on, you'll come across Le Chapotet, a peak that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to take a break at Les Lanches 1514, an information point where you can learn more about the area.
Throughout the hike, you'll also find several shelters, such as the ones at Prodin, providing a restful spot to take in the scenery. Along the way, be sure to check out the informative points like Panorama de Prodin and La Grande Montagne to gain a better understanding of the area.
