This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and historical points of interest. With a total distance of 12.284 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1081 meters, this hike is considered extremely difficult and requires a good level of fitness.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 0.02 kilometers from the trailhead. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Cima Palon peak at 5.45 kilometers from the start, the Ex rifugio militare ruins at the 5-kilometer mark, and the Selletta Damaggio saddle at 5.59 kilometers from the start. These landmarks offer a mix of natural beauty and historical significance.
Halfway through the hike, you will reach the Dente Italiano peak at 5.68 kilometers from the start, followed by the Dente Austriaco peak at 6.14 kilometers. These peaks provide panoramic views of the surrounding area and are great spots to take a break and soak in the scenery.
As you make your way back, be sure to visit the Pian delle Fugazze saddle at 0.02 kilometers from the start and the Colletto Alto di Fieno saddle at 2.62 kilometers. These points offer interesting geological features and are perfect for photo opportunities.
