This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning mountains of Dente Austriaco. The 12.284-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 1081.0 meters and is expected to take around 5 hours and 32 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will embark on this challenging journey. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. You will pass by Cima Palon at 5.45 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at 5.59 kilometers, you will reach Selletta Damaggio, followed by Sella dei Due Denti at 5.86 kilometers. These natural saddles offer a unique experience for hikers.
As you continue on, you will come across historical sites such as the Ex rifugio militare at the 5-kilometer mark and the Battaglia degli Altopiani at 5.89 kilometers. These remnants of the past add depth to your hiking experience.
If you need a break or some sustenance, you can visit Albergo al Passo at the beginning of the trail, or Miramonti, a bar along the way. Remember to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the journey, as well as checking the weather forecast before setting out.
