This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Route de la Forclaz. The trail is 4.768 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 547 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a water source just 2.38 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle. Further along, at the 0.2 kilometer mark, you will reach a scenic viewpoint where you can take in the stunning surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter helpful information points, benches for resting, and even a restaurant at the trailhead for a post-hike meal. Be sure to check out the Col de la Forclaz saddle at the midway point of the trail, offering a picturesque spot to take a break.
For those interested in camping, the Camping de l'Arpille is conveniently located 0.14 kilometers from the start of the trail. Additionally, there are several parking areas along the trail for those driving to the trailhead.
