This hiking route takes you on a challenging journey through the stunning natural beauty of the Via Valsabbia area. With a total distance of 6.562 kilometers and an elevation gain of 637 meters, this trail is classified as difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you start your trek, you'll come across the Caffè del Pompiere about 0.52 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This cafe is a great spot to grab a quick refreshment before you continue your journey. Further along the trail, at approximately 0.11 kilometers in, you'll encounter a wayside shrine and at 0.38 kilometers there is a memorial dedicated to the Monumento agli Alpini di Sant'Apollonio.
Midway through the hike, at around 2.61 kilometers, you'll reach the Forcella di Prealba where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. There is also information available at this point to learn more about the area. Continuing on, you'll pass by Monte Prealba and the Alfredo Chiodi rock formation.
Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 2.92 kilometers, you'll encounter more rock formations including Punta Camoghera. Make sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the journey as you take in the breathtaking views along the way.
