Make sure to bring enough water for the journey, as the trail covers a distance of 9.2 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 1046 meters. The hike is of moderate difficulty due to the length and elevation gain, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding trek.

Along the way, you will come across a serene mountain saddle called Colle Di Valdobbia, located 4 kilometers into the hike. Here, you can take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking views before continuing on your journey.

At a distance of 4 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Ospizio Sottile alpine hut. This is a perfect spot to rest and refuel before heading back. The hut provides a unique opportunity to experience the tranquility of the alpine region.

Throughout the hike, you may also encounter various amenities such as benches, a restaurant named Carducci, and a drinking water station for your convenience.
