This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful landscape of Oststart. The trail is 8.232 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 896 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 8 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Kohlstatt information point, just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at about 0.1 kilometers in, you'll find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle for the duration of the hike.
As you continue on, you'll pass by the Bründlingköpfl peak at 1.46 kilometers into the trail, offering a stunning viewpoint of the surrounding area. Along the way, you'll also encounter several benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the scenery.
Midway through the hike, at 3.89 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Hochfellnhaus restaurant, a perfect spot to refuel and recharge before continuing on.
As you approach the end of the trail, you'll come across the Hochfelln peak at 3.97 kilometers, offering another breathtaking viewpoint of the area. Just before completing the loop, you'll find more benches where you can relax and take in the beauty of Oststart.
