This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Gut Hasselholz and Blockhaus in Aachen. The trail is a circular route, making it convenient for hikers to start and finish at the same point.
The hike is super easy, with a total distance of 1.928 kilometers and no elevation gain to worry about. Along the way, you'll come across several points of interest:
- Starting off, you'll find parking areas at 0.08, 0.35, and 0.41 kilometers from the trail.
- At 0.35 kilometers, there are benches for hikers to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
- Midway through the hike, at 0.82 kilometers, there is a water source and a farm called Bioland Gut Hasselholz, which is worth a visit.
- Further along, at 0.91 kilometers, you'll find Johannisbachquelle, a natural spring.
- Towards the end of the trail, at 0.94 kilometers, there are more benches, another water source, and a historical wayside cross to explore.
