This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape surrounding Valvasorjev dom pod Stolom. The trail is 6.129 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 538 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across Završniško jezero, a picturesque lake just 0.08 kilometers from the trail. This is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area and maybe even have a quick rest before continuing on.
Further along the trail, at 3.06 kilometers from the start, you will find Valvasorjev dom pod Stolom, an alpine hut where you can take a break, grab a snack, and enjoy the stunning views around you.
On your way back, midway through your hike at 2.1 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and admire the surroundings.
Throughout the hike, there are plenty of informational signposts (Kažipot) to guide you along the trail, with the closest one being at 3.05 kilometers from the start.
It is important to note that there is a peak called Smolnik at 2.12 kilometers from the start, and another peak called Žičica at 1.06 kilometers from the start, which are both worth a visit if you have the time and energy.
