Welcome to the hiking route in Akozpe!

Akozpe is a beautiful area known for its stunning natural landscapes and historic sites. The hiking route is a circular one, covering a distance of 5.218 kilometers with an elevation gain of 189 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across several interesting points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will spot the "Mugarrien 11. zenbakia" boundary stone, followed by the "Borne frontière #9" boundary stone and the "Mugarrien 8. zenbakia" boundary stone along the way. You will also pass by the "Mugarrien 7. zenbakia" and "Mugarrien 6. zenbakia" boundary stones, each with its own historic significance.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the "Akozpe" peak and the "Manttale" peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. As you continue, you will come across the "Cromlechs Mandale 1-5" archaeological site and the "Baionetako gotorlekua" castle ruins.
