Welcome to the hiking route to Hochsäss.

Hochsäss is a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes, perfect for a challenging hike. The route is an out-and-back trail, covering a total distance of 9.985 kilometers with an elevation gain of 499 meters, making it a difficult hike suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area, making it convenient for you to park your vehicle and start the adventure. Further along the trail, at around 2.38 kilometers from the starting point, there is a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you continue on the trail, at approximately 4.35 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Hüenerchopf peak, offering breathtaking views of the area. This is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the surroundings and snap some memorable pictures.

Around halfway through the hike, at 4.9 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Rundchopf peak, providing another opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views of the region.

Towards the end of the trail, at 4.99 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, ideal for refilling your water supply before heading back.
