This hiking route takes you through the heart of Salt Lake City, starting at the City Creek Center on Main Street. The route is perfect for beginners as it is super easy with no elevation gain.
Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will encounter Temple Square, a popular attraction with wheelchair accessibility. Further along the trail, you will find the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the Family History Library.
Midway through your hike, you will come across the McIntyre Building Condominium and several water features such as fountains and monuments. Be sure to stop by attractions like the Meridian Monument and Brigham Young Monument for some historical significance.
As you make your way back, you can refuel at restaurants like Blue Lemon, JB's, Nauvoo Cafe, and The Garden. Don't forget to grab a coffee at Starbucks or a meal at Texas de Brazil or Elevations Restaurant.
